Cyprus is the third biggest island of Meditteranean after Sicily and Sardunya. The popultion of Northern Cyprus is 264,172 according to 2006 data whose capital is Nicosia. Cyprus receive it's name from copper deposits that were managed from Bronze Age.

Northern Cyprus is the paradise island of Meditteranean with its nature and unique historical wealth. Northern Cyprus offers you hospitable welcome with its golden beaches and 9000 years old magnificent history, friendly people, very clean and unspoiled excellent nature and a long coast which is sunny through the whole year. It comes across you with its fantastic mixture of English colonial architecture samples with temple ruins and castles which are dominated with Beşparmak mountains which are together with gothic churches.

Arrival

Republic of Turkey citizens will enter the country with their identity cards or passports.

Climate

The average temperature at Cyprus is 28 °C in October and the sea temperature is approximately 25 °C.

Car Rental

There are too many Rent-A-Car's at Cyprus. The car rents are quite suitable. Traffic is from the LEFT line. The international traffic norms are used and there is a safe circulation.

Currency

The currency used at Cyprus is New Turkish Lira (YTL).

Transportation

During the congress, for accompanying persons there will be free transportation to the city center of Famagusta and Congress Venue-Nicosia-Kyrenia once a day.

Electricity

220/240 volt AC electric current is used at Cyprus where the sockets are according to English standards.
